LEAVE IT TO CHANCE!
Creating your personal brand = Creating brand assets
No; not.
In fact, to be honest, planning and building your brand assets is the easiest part of the work!
I call this part as the math and the window side of the work.
Your personal website, social media content, published articles, professional photos, image etc.
When you work with the right names this stage isn’t a patience work; it’s just a to-do list work.
It is important to prepare all your brand inventories in a way that reflects and sells you, but it has a formula and can be done.
There is a real “patience work” for your personal brand success: continuity
There is no short way to achieve success in this regard.
There is another easy way.
But whoever does it, succeeds
And a handful of people can accomplish this.
Look at the life stories of world-renowned and personal brands.
Read their starting stories, their interviews in which they tell their early years
You will see that they are the same without exception:
They focus on their goals
They focus on their goals regardless of the reaction they receive in the outside world
And they work; they work for their goals for months and years
They didn’t turn halfway to the destination
They didn’t give up when they didn’t believe in themselves.
They didn’t question who cared.
They just did it.
So focus on your personal brand goals and work for it.
If your goal is to be an authority in your industry, focus on it. Produce content that people trust you; talk-tell in your area; evaluate-interpret industry news; capture and share the latest news.
But in doing so, how many people have liked your content; how many comments you have received; how many people have appreciated you; forget them.
Just do it! Maybe 1–2 years just do it!
When you don’t believe in yourself, enter the accounts of names that now have thousands of followers. Get down to their initial content; look at the number of interactions and relax
Focus on your goals for your personal brand.
When life sees your persistent, stubborn and determined attitude on this issue, it will respect and support it.
And someone will call it “Luck.”
I wish you good luck in your way of being a personal brand :)
